Alleged rape in Rajasthan; the UP govt comes to minor’s rescue

A girl’s father in Rajasthan appealed to UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath after an alleged gangrape of his minor daughter cost her admission in Class 11, pinned down in the police case as she had been. His wish is now being answered.

Swarajyamag posted the heart-rending video which made Agra administration swing into action, and as the district magistrate of Mathura tweeted, action has been initiated to secure the girl’s admission in the school where she had cleared her Class 10th.

The alleged incident happened in Badipur, Bharatpur (Rajasthan) where the survivor lives. However, she studies in a school adjoining Mathura district that falls under Uttar Pradesh.

The alleged gangrape allegedly took place in April 2020 and arrests were made only last month after the survivor’s mother raised slogans at a senior Congress leader’s political rally.

Congress, incidentally, runs the government in Rajasthan.
