“Coronavirus is a Wuhan Virus,” claims an insider virologist
Li-Meng Yan, a Chinese virologist has claimed that she can prove that Coronavirus was manufactured in a lab, and before this, she had also claimed that WHO and China were aware of the coronavirus from Wuhan way before it became the breaking news.
In an interview on the British talk show, ITV's Loose Women with host Jane Moore, Yan claimed that she has evidence to prove that Wuhan coronavirus was lab-manufactured and even the non-scientists would be able to verify that. To save herself from the Chinese authorities' retribution, Yan went to Hong Kong because she had claimed to blow the cover of China in the coronavirus crisis but now Dr. Li is ready to publish them soon.
When Yan was asked, as per her investigation, where did coronavirus came from, she replied, “It came from the lab in Wuhan."
It's interesting to note that the US President Donald Trump had confidently claimed that the virus emanated from Wuhan's lab.
According to Dr. Yan, the genome sequence can be used to identify where the virus came from and the sequence is very much similar to a human fingerprint. She said, “I will use this evidence to tell people why this has come from the lab in China, why they are the ones who made it.” Yan also added, “anyone, even if you have no biology knowledge, will be able to read it, and check and identify and verify it yourself.”
She did her interview from an undisclosed location on 'Loose Women' and also shared her experience about the dangers she faced in Hong Kong. Yan also stated that the Chinese government had removed every piece of information about her from the databases of the government.
The virologist said, she felt that it's her moral duty to reveal the truth about the origin of coronavirus and dismiss the claims that the virus has emerged from Wuhan's wet markets.
Dr. Li had claimed early in July that Professor Malik Peiris, WHO advisor, and China were aware of the virulence of coronavirus but did nothing to tell the world about it.
As per Dr. Li's claims, a scientist of China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention was her friend and she told Yan about the coronavirus cases reported on December 31 and that scientist also informed her about human-to-human transmission.
Yan appeared for an interview in July 2020 with Fox News in the United States from a secret location and in that interview, she said, “I reason I came to the United States because I am carrying COVID’s message of truth. If I had been revealed this from China, I would have disappeared and killed.”
On December 31, in Wuhan, Yan was asked to research on a new "SARS-like" virus by her superiors at Hong Kong’s School of Public Health as she was a specialist there but later her research was stopped.
She was asked to “keep silent and be careful” when she informed her superiors about the rising cases. According to Yan, her superiors reportedly said, "we will get in trouble and we’ll be disappeared."
