"Best wishes to the country's Home Minister, guardian Amit Shah on his birthday. Sir you inspire lakhs of youth like me to do something for the country. May god always keep you healthy," tweeted Chirag Paswan on the 56th birthday of senior BJP leader. Paswan also had a phone conversation with Amit Shah.
Chirag Paswan belongs to the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and he is fighting independently in the October-November Bihar election and not from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Before sending birthday wishes to Amit Shah, Paswan had targeted Nitish Kumar via three tweets alleging him for "five years of scams" and also mentioned that he would send all the accused to jail if he comes to power.
BJP, which virtually runs NDA, has already declared Nitish Kumar to the alliance’s choice of chief minister.
Even though BJP has distanced itself from Chirag Paswan, the latter seems to probe the insecurity of Nitish Kumar with which he has broken alliance in the state.
Paswan claimed in an interview with NDTV that he had shared his reservations about Nitish Kumar before announcing his solo fight and that Amit Shah had been "quiet".
