Uttar Pradesh could soon have a university in the name of Bhagwan Ram in Ayodhya, it has been reported.
The proposed university would have research and studies on culture, beliefs, scriptures and religious facts related to Bhagwan Ram.
It’s been claimed by the State’s deputy chief minister, Dr Dinesh Sharma, who also has higher education portfolio in the state cabinet, that it would also be a centre for studies on Hinduism and culture.
The university could come with the collaboration of private sector with the state government.
The construction of an airport in Ayodhya has already been announced by the Yogi Adityanath administration.
Further, three more universities could come up soon in Aligarh, Saharanpur and Azamgarh.
Uttar Pradesh, has 23 universities and six central universities.
