Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust has donated a silver brick for the construction of Shri Ram temple at Ayodhya. “We have donated a silver brick to Ram temple trust. We are sending the message that Shri Ram is the centre of belief of Dalits. We want a grand temple to be built in Ayodhya for Ram,” Dr Lalji Prasad Nirmal, chairman of Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust said.
He added that Adivasis were with Shri Ram when he went on exile for 14 years to forests. Welcoming the donation, Anil Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra, said that they were getting good response to their campaign. The temple trust is conducting a donation drive from January 14 to February 27.
The temple trust has ambitious plans to reach out to 12 crore Hindu families across the country. Within a month of the donation drive, it has received over Rs 1,500 crore already.
