BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has criticised the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal for returning an isolation centre with 50 beds to his foundation. Gautam Gambhir Foundation had provided the isolation centre to the Delhi government, along with 20 oxygen cylinders and some other equipment.
Gambhir shared the details of a document sent to him by the Kejriwal government on Twitter. He said he was appalled by the government move.
The move has come at a time when there is a sharp surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi. It seems odd because the Centre had stepped in some days ago to review the worsening situation due to virus spread. Gambhir wrote on Twitter: Shame died of shame! @ArvindKejriwal returned our COVID centre when Delhi is running from pillar to post for beds!
