Ashok Gehlot’s government has banned the sale of firecrackers during the festive season of Deepawali in the state.
Along with this, The Rajasthan government has planned to bring a law in the upcoming assembly session to make the masks mandatory in the state.
The chief minister informed so on his twitter handle, saying the only way Coronavirus could be avoided is by adopting various measures such as masks, social distancing, and cleaning hands repeatedly.
The campaign is termed: No Mask, No Entry. The campaign would not be stopped until people realize the importance of wearing masks.
The CM, in his tweet, said that the government has also decided to ban the sale of firecrackers during the festive season in the state in the wake of the Pandemic.
The government has released the orders for authorities also to take strict action against smoke-blenching vehicles.
Rajasthan recorded 1,754 new cases and 10 deaths on Sunday, taking the total active cases to 15,255 and deaths to 1,917.
