How an Indian tech co. is making Australia prepare against India in cricket series

As India gears up for the third Test of the ongoing four-match series with Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground, Australian cricket has shared some interesting insights that show how Aussies prepare for unseen rivals.

Cricket Australia on Wednesday, on cricket.com.au, has shared a video that revealed an analysis of data that help the Australian team for field challenges.

Former Australian first-class cricketer Dene Hills has been Australia’s analyst since 2010 and as an analyst, he was responsible for the statistical analysis of their opponents and playing conditions before any game to the Australian team.

Dene Hills further revealed that a Chennai-based company, Cricket 21 helps him by providing a lot of statistics and assist the Australian team with essential data. They have an end-to-end match analysis engine that provides a complete analysis of any team performance.

Further to that, Australian cricket management has also deployed Microsoft’s Office 365 and Teams in September to “encourage nationwide collaboration and gather fresh insights for players and coaches”. Interestingly, Microsoft is again headed by an Indian-American Satya Nadella, who has publicly disclosed that he himself is an avid cricket enthusiast.
