If you oppose CAA, watch this video, tweets Union minister Shekhawat

Highlighting the atrocities on the Hindu minorities in Pakistan, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat slammed those opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The act provides Indian citizenship to persecuted religious minorities in the neighbouring counties of Pakistan, besides Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

His comments came after the Shri Ganesh temple in Rahimyar Khan district of Pakistan was attacked and vandalized on Wednesday.

“Why did Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah introduce the CAA bill, and why do other minority religions, including Hindus need protection in Pakistan? This video of Shri Ganesh temple in Rahimyar Khan district of Pakistan will answer your questions,” Shekhawat tweeted along with the video. “All minorities in Pakistan have to deal with these situations daily.”

He said who advocate for the withdrawal of CAA, saying that such people value appeasement over humanity.

As per a report, a mob of over two dozen people vandalized the temple and broke idols and its structure.

Treated as second-class citizens, the Hindus of Pakistan are often systemically discriminated against in every walk of life — housing, jobs, access to government welfare. The persecution of religious minorities has been manifested in various forms of targeted violence, mass murders, extrajudicial killings, abduction, rapes, forced conversion, etc.

Pakistani Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Ahmadiyyas, and Shias have been the most persecuted minorities in Pakistan and have suffered religious hatred at the hands of the majority.
