Fans were quick to decode the message as the first alphabets of all the words suggested: Pick Gill and Rahul.
Gill, if he comes into the second Test, would replace Prithvi Shah. Rahul would walk in in place of Virat Kohli who is returning home to be by the bedside of his wife Anushka Sharma who is expecting in January 2021.
In the second practice match between India and Australia A recently, Gill’s batting prowess was there for all to see as he produced knocks of 43 and 65 runs respectively in both innings against a quality Australian bowling attack.
