No ban on firecrackers; celebrate Diwali with gusto, says MP CM Shivraj Chouhan

Breaking the league, Madhya Pradesh chief ministser Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced on Twitter that there will be no ban on crackers in his state.  While responding to a query by a user on Twitter, CM Chouhan said his state is a state of happiness and people will be able to celebrate Diwali with great pomp and show.

He also said people should burn crackers and celebrate Diwali for the return of Shri Rama to Ayodhya.

Although Mr. Chouhan has cleared that there are no restrictions on crackers, however, the government has banned Chinese firecrackers. He also said the firecrackers brands that sell their products with the image of God and Goddesses will also be part of this ban as they directly hurt the religious sentiment of Hindus.

In recent days, several governments have issued orders for the ban of firecrackers and imposed severe restrictions on the Diwali celebration but MP’s CM decision has been greeted wholeheartedly by people.

The netizens have presented their happiness over Twitter for Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his decision. “Mama ji rocks” and “we love you mamaji” top Twitter.
