Pakistan is killing zone for minorities: India in the United Nations
Stating that the country has failed to protect its most vulnerable on Monday, India slammed Pakistan for becoming a “killing zone” for minorities. India points out how Islamabad has implemented “disappearance” as a tool of “subordination against dissent and criticism” and become a safe country for terrorists.
While responding to the statement of Pakistan in the United Nations Human Rights Council, India remarks that out of every four, there are three outsiders in the Pakistan-occupied parts of Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Pakistan is a well-known perpetrator of human rights violations. Although on several occasions, it has promised to safeguard the interest of minority however its continuous attacks on minority tells a completely different story.
Civil, political, and constitutional rights are almost non-existent in the areas of Pakistan-occupied parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, intentional economic policies have worsened their condition, forcing them to live in extreme poverty.
Pawan Badhe, an Indian diplomat criticized the so-called constitution of Pakistan and said, “In contrast, full-scale training camps and launchpads of terrorists are being escalated in Pakistan-occupied parts of Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh at great expense for sustaining cross border terrorism against India,"
While the entire world is trying to cope-up with the novel coronavirus, Pakistan is busy fuelling its terrorist activities. Pakistan has removed the names of more than 4,000 terrorists from its list to sustain its terror ecosystem.
“The fate of religious and ethnic minorities is well known when beheading is the only option in Pakistan in exchange for the freedom of religion. Various international organizations have termed Pakistan as the killing field for minorities," Mr. Badhe stated.
Mr. Badhe also points out how Pakistan has been using the UN council platform for spreading malicious propaganda against India.
None of Pakistan's vile accusations against India could stifle the voice of minorities and people under its subjugation," he added.
