PM takes off on a seaplane in Ahmedabad, showcases Gujarat’s strides

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took off on a seaplane to reach Dharoi Dam from Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad, a distance of around 180km, this morning. After doing darshana at famous Ambaji temple in Mehsana, he is due to fly back to Ahmedabad again on a seaplane.

The prime minister boarded the single-engine seaplane from near the Sardar Bridge in Ahmedabad West. A special jetty was built to enable the prime minister to board the seaplane from the river.

This journey took place after the prime minister’s roadshow in Ahmedabad was cancelled. It showcased the development done by the BJP in the state—rebuffing the Congress claim of lack of development.

“With air, roads & rail connectivity, our Government is making efforts for harnessing waterways. All this is for 125 crore Indians,” adding the prime minsiter “The transformation across Gujarat is for everyone to see. Sadly, Congress’ notion of development is making a quick buck and that is why they are unable to see any change for the better.”
