Scary: Facebook won’t let go even Trump’s interviews

Social Media giant Facebook took down a video interview with Donald Trump conducted by his daughter-in-law Lara Trump for her show “The Right View.”

Lara Trump, who is married to the former president’s son Eric and recently joined Fox News as a contributor, had promoted an interview with Trump for her own online show “The Right View” in Instagram posts on Tuesday.

Citing the reason, Facebook informed that the video was removed because it would remove any content in the voice of Donald Trump.

Trump was suspended from Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram indefinitely over incitement of violence following the January 6 riot by Trump supporters at the US Capitol in Washington. Facebook has sent the case of Trump’s suspension to its independent oversight board.

“Hi folks,” a Facebook employee wrote in an email to Lara with the subject line “Content Removal.”

“We are reaching out to let you know that we removed content from Lara Trump’s Facebook Page that featured President Trump speaking,” the Facebook employee wrote. “In line with the block we placed on Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, further content posted in the voice of Donald Trump will be removed and result in additional limitations on the accounts.”

Earlier this month, Trump spokesman Jason Miller said the former president would return to social media with his own social network.

“I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media, probably in about two or three months here, with his own platform,” Miller recently told Fox News.
