On a day Team India secured a heroic draw in the Sydney Test, there was a double delight with news coming in from India that their captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl.
The Indian skipper shared the good news with his fans and followers on Twitter. His special note, across all his social media platform, read:
“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat,” Kohli said in his post on Twitter.
Widely regarded as one of the most talked-about couples in tinsel town, Kohli and Anushka had tied the knot on December 11, 2017. Three years later, the Indian skipper had shared the good news of Anushka's pregnancy in August amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kohli and Anushka recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary on December 11.
