After a year’s gap, due to Covid-19 pandemic, home minister Amit Shah is again in Ahmedabad to attend the annual Rath Yatra for Jagannath Temple which is taking off today.
What caught eye on social media was Shah feeding bananas to elephants outside the temple.

He would also visit Gandhinagar, and nearby town of Sanad where he is to launch or lay the foundation stone for various projects.
Shah launched a water supply scheme for Ahmedabad on Sunday which would benefit 35,000 homes.
Addressing the citizens on the benefits of the water su[pply scheme, Shah said, “The planning has been made in such a way that there will not be any problems for people in receiving freshwater for at least 30 years.”
