Yogi govt has villages as priority to combat deadly Covid-19





The Uttar Pradesh Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has been pro-actively working not only to fight the second wave but also gearing up for the third wave. After the experts mentioned that the third wave can affect women and children, the government has decided to reserve as many as 2200 ambulances for women and children in the state to deal with the third wave of corona. 

The villages are kept on the first priority by the government. Testing facilities are being increased in the villages and all people with symptoms will be given a medical kit free of cost.

Apart from that a high-level committee of experts has been constituted in the state to deal with the third wave. 

The government is also preparing to expand the vaccination drive. After placing several orders of vaccination, the government has decided to expand its vaccination drive for 18+ groups in five more districts, making the total to 23 districts. 

The 23 districts include Aligarh, Agra, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Bareilly, Meerut, Moradabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Mathura-Vrindavan, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar with Mirzapur, Banda, Gonda, Azamgarh and Basti its new additions. 

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh on Monday recorded further dip in fresh cases with 10, 505 fresh infections.
