In his attempt to instigate the gulf countries, Zakir Naik, the Islamic preacher has asked them to put those Indians in jail who are not Muslims if they are found insulting Islam or the Prophet whenever they arrive there.

Along with this, he also requested to create a database of such Indians so that when they come back to India, they can be booked there as well.

Times Now has accessed a video in which Zakir Naik can be heard saying that "Next time if they come to a gulf country, whether it's Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai or Indonesia, check if they have abused the Islam or insulted Prophet and then bring them to the task and file a case against them and put them behind the bars."

He also added, "Make it public that we have a database and do not reveal names. The moment they come, arrest them, take them to the court of law and give them punishment. Believe me, most of the people who are BJP bhakts spreading venom against Islam and Muslims will get scared."

Charges of committing unlawful activities and stimulating communal disharmony in India have been pressed against the 53-year-old preacher of Islam.

The authorities believe that Zakir Naik has been “promoting enmity and hatred between different religious groups in India through public speeches and lectures.”

Naik is currently a permanent resident of Malaysia but for a few years, he has kept himself a low profile due to the criticism against him that he is not peace friendly. He fled to Malaysia when an investigation against him started in India about his alleged contribution to the incident of the blast in the Dhaka cafe in July 2016.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had mentioned Zakir Naik in early September as an accused along with two preachers from Pakistan in an FIR of a "love jihad" case.

The case in question was high-profiled that involved the daughter of a businessman from Chennai and a Bangladesh politician's son who belonged to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party which is also the Party to which Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister belonged.
